Our Abacus Champions Represent Tanzania at the International Shenmo Abacus Competition
This October, a team of five brilliant pupils from Macedonia School proudly represented Tanzania in the Shenmo Global Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition held in Kigali, Rwanda — bringing home not only medals but unforgettable memories, experiences, and inspiration. 🌍✨
The competition brought together over 1,000 pupils from 31 countries, each showcasing their exceptional mental math skills. Our young mathematicians stood tall among the best, solving complex calculations in just seconds — a true reflection of hard work, discipline, and the power of focus. 🧠💨
Beyond the competition, our pupils had the chance to explore Kigali, visit the Tanzanian Embassy in Rwanda, and meet with the Ambassador of Tanzania, who congratulated them for their outstanding performance and great representation of the nation. They also attended the China–Africa Cultural Exchange Gala, where they proudly shared Tanzanian culture through song, dance, and tradition — creating lifelong friendships and cultural appreciation. 🇹🇿🤝🇨🇳
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Shenmo Education Team for their continuous support, guidance, and commitment to nurturing our learners’ mathematical excellence. 🙏
This incredible journey is not just about trophies or medals — it’s about growing confidence, broadening horizons, and proving that at Macedonia School, our pupils are not just learning — they are becoming global achievers. 🌟
